Data-Driven Management Framework: the dFakto way

Back to posts

  • dFakto has developed a data-driven management framework that aims to improve the execution of strategic decisions within any organization. This framework is composed of four core processes that work together to achieve this goal.

The first process is data management (data). It is the process of turning raw data into actionable information that can be used to make informed decisions. This process involves collecting, storing, and analyzing data to uncover insights that can be used to improve the performance of the organization.

The second process is decision-making (decide). This process involves taking the actionable information obtained from the data management process and using it to make strategic decisions. This process requires clear communication, collaboration, and a decision-making process that is grounded in data-driven insights.

The third process is piloting (plan). This process involves turning the decisions made in the decision-making process into actions on the ground. It involves testing the effectiveness of the decisions and making adjustments as needed. This process is critical for ensuring that the decisions made are actually executed and that they have the desired impact.

The final process is execution (do). This process involves putting the decisions and actions into practice through business processes and/or projects. It is the process of ensuring that the organization is able to execute the decisions made in a timely and effective manner. This process requires clear communication, collaboration, and a focus on delivering results. Execution generates new data and the cycle continues…

“Data-driven decision making is not about removing intuition, but enhancing it.” – Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc.

By following the four core processes outlined in this framework, organizations can turn data into actionable information, make data-driven decisions, pilot and execute those decisions, and ultimately achieve better results.
